Lot 1 - CITROEN Type B14 Torpedo, 1926. Chassis no. 244460 Registration: 221 BJ 64 First registration: 11/1926 Mileage (not guaranteed): 39,899 km Vehicle in good appearance and working order Normal registration In the same collection since 1968 Torpedo "Double windscreen Quality restoration Soft top (recent) in good condition Rear side protection available (used condition) Spanish Veteran Car Club plaque (Madrid-Benidorm-Madrid Rally) Ignition/starter modification (no need for crank to start) Presentation: Presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1926, the Citroën B14 was a minor revolution for the marque aux chevrons. It was the first Citroën with an all-steel body! With, among other innovations, more efficient braking thanks to a servo brake acting on all four wheels, and a new painting technique that saved days on the production lines, the B14 was André Citroën's coup de grâce to competition from Peugeot and Renault. A huge success for its time, with over 120,000 units produced in just two years! Available in several body variants, the Citroën B14 Torpédo presented by Côte Basque Enchères is certainly among the most playful versions of this emblematic model. The first car to join the collection in 1968, more than half a century ago, it has enjoyed many adventures, as witnessed by a plaque from the veteran Spanish car club. In good overall condition following an early restoration, this beautiful torpedo with double windscreen features sound bodywork and a soft top in good condition. With its elegant burgundy livery, black mudguards, burgundy rims and ecru soft-top fabric, this B14 torpedo just needs a good overhaul before it's ready for new adventures! Aided by a contemporary starter motor that makes it easy to get going, it deserves to be part of a new collection that will enable it to find its way back to rallying on the beautiful secondary network. Lot 2 - ROLLS-ROYCE 20/25 Sedanca de Ville Coachwork by Hooper of London, 1930. Chassis: GNS-53 Engine: U-6-N Registration: 9876 QK 64 First registration: 1930 Mileage (not guaranteed): 16,885 km Vehicle in original condition with good mechanical working order. Normal registration In the same collection since 1974 Coupé de Ville by Hooper Co. Ltd Removable driver/passenger division Original condition (except redone driver's seat) Presentation: After the Twenty, the Rolls-Royce 20/25 is the second version of "the little Rolls". Produced from 1929 to 1936, with no concessions on build quality and equipped, as Rolls-Royce tradition suggests, with an incredibly quiet and smooth engine, the 20/25 was very popular. With just over 3,800 units sold in all body styles, the 20/25 became the best-selling Rolls of the interwar period, helping Rolls-Royce to survive the Great Depression while remaining one of the world's leading brands. If the Rolls-Royce 20/25 is aimed at the owner who could drive the car himself, the "owner's" manual maintains the paradox: the introduction asks the owner to give the manual to the car's driver, who is also responsible for its maintenance. You don't need to read any further: it's all up to the owner. As with the majority of luxury automobiles of the period, the Rolls-Royce 20/25 can be custom-ordered with the coachbuilder of one's choice. The cars are hand-built by true craftsmen, either individually "full custom" or in small series with individual "semi-custom" equipment. Hooper Co is one of the world's leading coachbuilders, characterized by its high-end positioning. Its bodies are built without regard to cost for the nobility and aristocracy of the world. Côte Basque Enchères is pleased to offer this Rolls-Royce 20/25 Sedanca de Ville by Hooper Co. The overall condition really allows you to appreciate the originality of an unrestored car. Acquired in 1974 by our collector, this car is believed to be a third-hand model originally used as a limousine in the city of London. The car starts, runs and runs well, without overheating. Once the engine has reached temperature, the idle speed at standstill is barely perceptible. Rolls-Royce vehicles from this period will forever set the standard for luxury. As majestic as ever today, this Sedanca De Ville remains spectacular on the road. Driving it is an event in itself, and despite its age, the Rolls-Royce 20/25 is easy enough to steer, with heavy but precise steering and a four-speed gearbox that serves the delightfully smooth in-line 6-cylinder well. The rare state of preservation of this Rolls-Royce 20/25, which has a lovely patina, the originality of the interior, metal and engine, and the quality of its driving, will allow it to be entered in a survivor class (original/unrestored vehicle) at the most prestigious concours d'élégance. It will undoubtedly appeal to the collectors most attached to the authenticity of a car that can be appreciated like a fine work of art in the rare "Spirit of ecstasy"! Lot 3 - DELAHAYE 148L Cabriolet Chapron, 1939. Chassis number: 60848 Chapron number: 6070 Engine no.: 60848 Registration: 3913 QJ 64 First registration: 1939 Mileage (not guaranteed): 28,318 km Vehicle in good appearance and working order Normal registration In the same collection since 1973 Cabriolet Chapron Grand Luxe 3 positions Cotal" 4-speed gearbox Restoration Quality antique bodywork 315 cm wheelbase Presentation: An automotive pioneer at the end of the 19th century, Delahaye is renowned for its sumptuous luxury automobiles from the 30s and 40s, when the French brand was at its peak. Delahaye is unusual in that it never built its own bodies. As a result, all were dressed by renowned coachbuilders such as Antem, Figoni et Falaschi, Franay, Guilloré, Labourdette, Letourneur et Marchand, Pourtout and Saoutchik, and of course Henri Chapron, the brand's preferred coachbuilder. Introduced in 1935, the Delahaye 135 quickly became the flagship model. Destined for royalty and aristocracy, the "135" was available in a wide range of versions, and excelled in both competition and concours d'élégance (two Monte Carlo victories in 1937 and 1939, and a win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1938). A favorite base for the best coachbuilders, the Delahaye Type 135 sold well, both in France and abroad, and some 1,400 examples were produced before the outbreak of the Second World War. An evolution of the 135 based on a longer wheelbase, the Delahaye Type 148 could accommodate up to 7 passengers more comfortably. Before the outbreak of WWII, less than 360 Type 148s were produced in all body styles. Delahaye 148L chassis number 60848 features bodywork by Henri Chapron, and is one of the rare 148L 3-position cabriolets in Grand Luxe execution, with the famous "torpedo" fender tips, chrome door edge strips, and a more luxurious interior finish. With its 315 cm wheelbase, this is a two-door, four-seat convertible with a soft top designed to be used either fully open, fully closed or covering only the rear bench seat. Ideally proportioned and well-balanced, this very luxurious Delahaye features right-hand drive, in keeping with the tradition followed by the majority of French luxury cars of the period. The bodywork has undergone a high-quality antique restoration and comes in a two-tone gray/blue livery, accompanied by a dark leather interior that looks original and has an exquisite patina. Engine number 60848 is the famous 3.5-liter 6-cylinder (3557 cm3, Type 135) of the same design as that fitted to the Delahaye that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1938. Reputed to be particularly reliable, in addition to its sporty, torquey appearance, it also provides excellent driving comfort when combined with the optional "Cotal" 4-speed gearbox. Cared for by the same collectors for over half a century, this 148L boasts an authentic patina and a well-known history. According to its owner, it's now a third hand: in 1939, Henri Chapron built this body for the Comte de Leusse (Bd Foch, Paris); after the end of the Second World War, it was sold to Mr. R.A. (of Saint-Symphorien (33)) before joining the collection, where it has sat ever since. There's no need to go back over the success of the "135", both in competition and at concours d'élégance. Even rarer and more exclusive is the luxurious Delahaye 148L bodied by Henri Chapron, with the discreet yet assertive elegance of a true queen of French automotive history! Lot 4 - CADILLAC Series 62 Convertible, 1961. Chassis: 61 FO 56793 Registration: 950 PN 64 First registration: 1961 Mileage (not guaranteed): 45,128 Miles Vehicle in original condition requiring repairs. Normal registration Second hand (from Monaco) In the same collection since 1970 Hood in good condition Exhaust to be revised (muffler) Presentation: The Cadillac Series 62 was produced from 1940 to 1964. The model underwent several spectacular evolutions in line with American design trends: majestic roundness after the war, oversized shells and fins in the 1950s, and the finely pleated lines with taut flanks of the 1960s. It's this ultimate iteration of the Cadillac Series 62 that interests us today, in its 6-seat convertible version, produced in 1962 in 16,800 examples. Having never been restored, this Cadillac Series 62 convertible is presented in original condition. Owned by our collector since 1970, it is a second-hand model from Monaco, purchased new by the father of a friend. Particularly well equipped for its time, this Cadillac features power steering, electric windows and soft top, automatic transmission and a torquey 6.4L V8 engine. The elegant Cadillac 62 Series is a symbol of success, characterized by its comfort and disconcerting ease of driving. If the car starts up and runs regularly, an overhaul and repair of the exhaust system will be necessary before taking to the road. It's an excellent opportunity to embrace the American dream, and to choose which key you'd prefer to make its sweet V8 purr. God Bless America God Bless Cadillac! Lot 5 - JAGUAR MK2 3.4 O/D, 1961. Chassis: 178987DN Engine: KH 8677-8 Registration: 7356 RH 64 First registration: 1961 Mileage (not guaranteed): 33,185 km Vehicle in original condition with good mechanical working order, in need of repair. Normal registration In the same collection since 1979 4-speed manual gearbox + OverDrive Sunroof (in sheet metal) Stainless steel line Spoked wheels Steering wheel to change 3.8L grille badge (3.4L ENGINE) Presentation: Introduced in the late 1960s, the Jaguar Mark2 created the iconic image of a sports sedan for those who prefer the driver's seat. What's still striking today is the undiminished charisma of an exceptional automobile, with its curvaceous, chrome-accented styling and warmly English interior adorned with noble materials. The XK powertrain and its racing heritage are the icing on the cake of a bewitching-sounding car that retained the title of the world's fastest sedan for several years! This Mark2 comes in an elegant shade of English green, with a beige leather interior. Fitted with a rare steel sunroof (an extremely costly option when the car was new) and a 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive for relaxed freeway cruising, it starts and drives well. However, a major overhaul is called for to drive serenely. The paintwork has been restored and the car is in generally good condition. The interior is in used condition and needs some attention, including replacement of the bakelite steering wheel. Fortunately, replacement options are plentiful. At the time of its release, it was at the wheel of this car that banks were robbed in style! Jaguar Mark2s were considered an excellent getaway car, capable of merging into traffic and overtaking most police cars. This Mark2 has a few shortcomings that will need to be improved over time to give it the lustre it deserves, but you won't need to "rob a bank" to finance it. Lot 6 - MERCEDES-BENZ 190SL, 1961. Chassis: 121040-10-021883 Registration: 7369 QM 64 First registration: 29/07/1961 Mileage (not guaranteed): 97,532 km Vehicle in need of repair Normal registration In the same collection since 1974 European version with HARDTOP Hood in good condition Floor to be revised Carburetor modification. Presentation: At the beginning of the 1950s, under the impetus of its American importer Max Hoffman, Mercedes-Benz developed two new automobiles that were to revolutionize its image and meet with resounding success. At the 1954 New York Motor Show, the new Mercedes-Benz "SL" range appeared, standing for "Sport Leicht", with the super-sporty 300SL on one side and the 190SL on the other, an elegant, more affordable alternative. The exclusive 300SL had a limited run, but succeeded in anchoring Mercedes-Benz in the collective imagination thanks to its "Gullwing" gullwing doors. Its little sister, the extremely well-built and easy-to-maintain 190SL, was a machine whose personality laid the foundations for a line of SL roadsters that has continued to this day, that of a comfortable, high-performance grand tourer with distinctive styling. Between 1955 and 1963, almost 26,000 examples of the 190SL were produced, 80% of them for the American market. The example presented by Côte Basque Enchères is a rarer European version, equipped with a hard-top. While this equipment has become widespread over the generations of Mercedes-Benz SLs, it is much rarer to find it on a 190SL. In the same hands since 1974, this Mercedes-Benz has undergone an almost 50-year-old restoration that changed its original color to the typical German gray. Despite the quality of its workmanship, a few signs of age are visible on the paintwork, and a trade-in may be considered to restore this beautiful body to its former glory. With its mechanics in working order and soft top in good condition, there's not much missing from this roadster to be appreciated as it should be. An appraisal report is available on request and provides further details on what needs to be done. With its enchanting natural elegance, a little attention will restore this beautiful Mercedes-Benz 190SL to its original beauty. Consultant : Ulysse JAMES - Tel: +33(0)7.63.16.31.52

Lot 7 - TRIUMPH SPITFIRE Mk4 (FH) cabriolet, 1973. Serial number: 1 FH 51011 L Registration: 5936 YE 64 First registration: 10/04/1973 Mileage (not guaranteed): 24,732 km Vehicle running in average condition. Normal registration With owner since 2005 Presentation: In response to the Austin Healey Sprite, Triumph launched the Spitfire at the 1962 London Motor Show. Charming and economical, the Spitfire underwent several evolutions until 1980. With almost 300,000 units produced, it became one of the most legendary British roadsters. During the development of the MX-5, several photos testify to the presence of a Triumph Spitfire in Mazda's official convoy (along with the Lotus Elan). The Spitfire's recipe for success: the joy of riding with your hair blowing in the wind, sitting close to the ground, throttle to the floor, with a sturdy engine! Côte Basque Enchères is delighted to offer this 1973 Triumph Spitfire MKIV. The MKIV, which first appeared in 1970, has undergone a major facelift, with a stabilized rear axle for greater safety and versatility. This Triumph is of French origin, and is equipped with OverDrive, making it possible to envisage long journeys or short motorway escapades with peace of mind. In the same hands for almost 20 years, it's in good mechanical working order overall, but the out-of-date tires are in urgent need of replacement. A few shortcomings in the general presentation provide an opportunity for enthusiasts to discover the world of collecting, and to learn about the restoration of a particularly endearing, easy-to-maintain car for which parts are available and affordable. Vehicle from a different owner than the previous ones. Consultant : Ulysse JAMES - Tel: +33(0)7.63.16.31.52
