MEISSEN PORCELAIN HANGER, FRAME BY ROMILLY IN PARIS, MID-XXIIIth CENTURY in Meissen porcelain and gilt bronze, consisting of two Meissen porcelain statuettes representing a magic lantern showman and a young hurdy-gurdy player, on a rocaille gilt bronze terrace, topped by a dial by Romilly in Paris with an associated counter-square. The statuettes are marked: crossed swords in blue. (Three fingers broken and missing, a chip at the end of a hoof, missing leaves and flowers).
