Je compatis sincèrement à votre douleur d´avoir perdu votre maman et je forme des voeux pour le rétablissement de votre père.´ (Translation: " Thank you for pages 18bis and 18ter of "Tintin in America", which are really very funny! Not for a single moment, believe me, have I seen a criticism in your “fantasies”. On the contrary, I really appreciated them! I sincerely sympathize with your pain at having lost your mother and I wish you well for your father's recovery.") Before concluding Hergé states ` Et ne quittez jamais l´enfance, c´est à dire la vraie spontanéité!´ (Translation: " And never leave childhood, that is to say true spontaneity!") Accompanied by a printed comic page, 18ter, which Hergé referes to in his letter. Small overall minor age wear and creasing, otherwise G to VG
