L.A.S. "Eug. Delacroix", Champrosay July 17 [1848], to lithographer Adolphe MOUILLERON; 1 page in-8, address (slight foxing). He will be in Paris on Friday evening: "if you want to send me the painting on Saturday morning you will oblige me a lot. [...] Having to leave again during the day and having many errands to do, I will be obliged to leave home early. I hope you will have had time to finish your stone. It was so well started that I will be too sorry if it is not. Excuse me for having left you little time the painting: but in truth I cannot make the amateur wait any longer and it is a precious race which it is necessary to spare in this time"...
