Lot 136 - 1947 HOTCHKISS Grégoire Chassis number 517 French registration One of the first produced 25088 km on the odometer Front bumper missing Sold without technical inspection 3500 / 6500€ During the war, Grégoire took an interest in aluminum and, with the help of Aluminium Français, designed a popular little car under the name AFG (Aluminium Français Grégoire), which would become, not without difficulty, the Panhard Dyna X. This solution was used again for the Hotchkiss Gregoire, with the use of Alpax (for the chassis) and aluminum (for the bodywork) guaranteeing low weight. Its suspensions are highly sophisticated, thanks to independent front and rear wheels with variable-flexion coil springs. It's a front-wheel-drive car with an unprecedented engine: a 4-cylinder, flat-bottom 1,998 cc, 64 hp engine - respectable power for its time, especially as the car weighed just 1,060 kg - and a 4-speed gearbox (1st non-synchronized and 4th overdrive). Its Bendix-Lockheed brakes are hydraulically operated. The wheels are aluminum. The design is in keeping with the times, with a record Cx and remarkably low fuel consumption for the size of the vehicle (4.65 meters). Its front tracks are wider than the rear (144 cm vs. 132), 8 years ahead of the Citroën DS. Last but not least, the price was mind-boggling: 1,200,000 Francs when a Citroën 11 Normale cost 461,000 Francs and the 15-6 version (16 HP) 636,470 Francs. By June 1951, the price had risen to 1,490,000 Francs, but industrialization problems persisted, forcing the brand to raise its prices sharply in order to limit breakage. At the Paris Motor Show in October, the price for a Hotchkiss-Grégoire had risen to 1,800,000 francs. This makes it a very interesting vehicle, both historically and in terms of its originality and mechanical advances. The car has undergone an initial restoration to replace the wooden frame on the doors. It is in good overall original condition, with original upholstery. The front bumper is missing.

Lot 146 - 1974 Volkswagen Combi T2 Serial number 2342158897 55233 km on the odometer French collector's registration Sold without technical inspection 20 000 / 25 000€ As 1,800,000 examples of the first Transporter rolled off the assembly line, the T1 gave way to the T2. In 1967, the new combi was much more modern, more attractive and also much safer, making its predecessor an old-fashioned vehicle. Thanks to its undivided front window, which is now strongly curved, and its enlarged windows, visibility conditions for the driver and front passenger are significantly improved. It's still a lightweight at 1,175 kilos (van). It has also become taller, 20 cm taller on the outside. The rear now features a sliding door, and the tailgate has also become significantly larger. Yet the most obvious change lies beneath the bodywork: the rear axle has been designed as a double-cardanic slant bar, which dramatically improves handling. The front axle now benefits from improved suspension and dual-circuit brakes, demonstrating its vocation to offer driving safety worthy of a touring car. Comfort has also been enhanced, with more comfortable seats, a better ventilation system and numerous other improvements. A more powerful 35 kW engine makes the van capable of speeds of up to 110 km/h. The model presented is in good condition and works well. It belongs to the "Le Trèfle" cinema in Dorlisheim, opposite the new Bugatti factory, where it was on display. It was also used in the OWELL COURBES video, which explains its special paintwork.

Lot 149 - 1963 Porsche 356 B Maching Numbers German registration Sold without technical inspection 90 000 / 110 000 The first owner was an American soldier who bought the car in Holland and took it with him to the USA. His name (Jacox) is engraved on the hubcaps. On his death, it was sold to a Swiss collector. Purchased from the second owner in 2003. At the time, it was in 100% original condition (many photos available). A partial restoration, preserving as many original elements as possible, could begin. The headliner and carpet were replaced, and the seats were only partially renovated. The rear seats and door panels are still original, dating from 1963. The engine has been fully restored with SC crankshaft, Carillo connecting rods and JE pistons, so the car now has around 90-95 HP instead of the original 75. The gearbox has also been completely refurbished. A CSP front disc brake kit has been fitted, but the original drum brakes are still in stock. A modern oil filter fitted with a thermostat that directs oil to the 2 front-mounted radiators when the oil exceeds 80° for better cooling was installed. The car is still in its original condition, with a few traces of use over its 61-year, accident-free life. A partial repaint has been carried out, but the roof and 2 hoods are still in original paint. The car is Matching Numbers. A new stainless steel exhaust pipe has been installed. She's ready for regularity rallies with her trip master, and is sure to please a new gentleman driver.
