Rising from a splayed foot to a globular body and flaring rim, the body cast with a band of raised vertical lines and flanked by beast mask handles, with a band of short stiff leaves below the rim. The interior with a six-character inscription in archaic script. Provenance: From the collection of H.L. Yang, Hong Kong. Condition: Good condition with wear and casting flaws. Traces of use, erosion, encrustations, and small nicks. Weight: 453 g Dimensions: Length 10.3 cm (across handles) With a (later) fitted wood stand.
