Of compressed globular form, supported by a spreading foot and rising to a flaring rim with a flat lip. The censer with incised characters to one side and flanked by Buddhist lion masks, with large bulbous eyes, bushy eyebrows, and an open mouth, revealing sharp teeth and fangs. Condition: Good condition with traces of wear and age, minor casting flaws, small nicks, shallow surface scratches, and with areas of malachite encrustations.
