Burner; China, Qing dynasty, second half of the nineteenth century. Glazed and enameled porcelain. Measurements: 12 x 26 x 26 cm. This small piece is a porcelain bowl with circular base decorated with a figurative scene in the center and incised decoration on the base and lip. The function of this piece would respond not only to an aesthetic aspect but also functional since the piece would contain burning charcoal in its interior from which incense would be lit with ritual motifs.
