Complete series consisting of 8 plates in the first state (of two), and 12 in the second state, apres la lettre with the name of the author and publisher Israel. This is a scarce miniature series dedicated to the mysteries of Christ's passion from the Annunciation to the Resurrection. Copper engraving, (48 x 35mm) and (30 x 30mm) engraved parts. Complete series of 20 engraved plates on 7 sheets applied to modern cardboard by thin adhesive strips on one verso only. (1)

Complete series, consisting of ten plates in the first state, two in the second state apres la lettre with Israel's name as publisher, two in the third apres la lettre et le chiffre with Israel's name and numbering, one in a later copy. Scarce series. also known as 'Les Petits Apôtres' of which there are no records at auction of plates belonging to the first series as presented here. Engravings, (85 x 55mm c.a). Series of 15 plates plus title page, applied to modern cardboard by thin adhesive strips on one verso only. (1)
