BROCKBANK & ATKINS, LONDON. A MID 19TH CENTURY CHAIN DRIVEN FUSEE SHIPS CLOCK. Having a moulded mahogany surround with locking brass bezel enclosing an 8" signed silvered engraved dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, regulation lever above, fronting an eight day fusee movement with large weighted compensated lever escapement and Harrison maintaining power, signed and numbered on backplate. (28cm diameter ) The clock is in very good working condition, with no damage. Original lever escapement. There are losses to the silvering around the winding hole and a small mark next to one of the dial feet. Comes with winding key.
