Pintura china sobre seda "Codorniz", dinastía Qing Ink and pigments on silk, with brocade frame. It shows a beautiful quail with rich plumage arranged on its back, with its head turned to the left, as if observing something happening beyond the painting. It is set against a simple landscape of ochre tones and earthen ground, from which light plants and thin bamboo branches emerge. With a seal in the form of a "hulu" in the upper left corner and two on the lower right side. Measurements: 32.3 x 30.9 cm; Measurements with frame: 62.1 x 41.4 cm.

Chinese Tibor decorated with the characteristic cobalt blue on white, which was highly appreciated in Europe since its early importation. It dates from the end of the Qing dynasty and its main ornamental motifs are also tibors and other types of vases.

Red silk fabric finely embroidered with golden thread and green and silver tones representing phytomorphic and zoomorphic motifs. That is to say, it combines millenary dragons and vegetable elements. Under the Qing, inherited art forms flourished and innovations of a technical, aesthetic and artisanal nature took place. High levels of literacy, a successful publishing industry, thriving cities and a Confucian emphasis on cultivation nurtured a lively and creative set of cultural fields.

Headrest. China, Qing dynasty, Guangxu period, 1875-1908. Hand painted porcelain. Remainder of export wax seal on the back. It has wear on the supports of the legs and some lack in a foot. Measurements: 25 x 32 x 13 cm. Antique Chinese porcelain pillow in the shape of a child resting on knees and elbows, in crawling position. The piece follows the models of the Song dynasty, although it is later. Emperor Guangxu also known by his temple name Emperor Dezong of Qing, personal name Zaitian, was the tenth emperor of the Qing dynasty, and the ninth Qing emperor to rule China proper. His reign, which lasted from 1875 to 1908, was largely dominated by his aunt, Empress Dowager Cixi. Guangxu initiated the radical Hundred Days Reform, but it was abruptly interrupted when the empress dowager staged a coup d'état in 1898. After the death of Emperor Tongzhi in 1875, Empress Dowager Cixi installed her four-year-old nephew as Emperor Guangxu, contravening Qing dynastic custom.

Chinese late Qing silk civil official's rank badge, fifth rank, depicting a silver pheasant. The bird is surrounded by apocryphal symbols and a red sun above striped white and gold. The edges with alternating shou symbols and bats. Height: 11 3/4 in x width: 12 in.
