Sello "Bestia" de Piedra Shoushan, dinastia Qing Elongated and rectangular seal of Shoushan stone of reddish tonality with amber stains. It has in the upper area a carved figure of a beautiful mythical beast lying on its hind legs, with its head turned and tail tucked up. It shows an intimidating expression with bulging eyes and open jaws. On one of the sides it shows an incised poem. The base shows the seal with multiple characters made in bas-relief. It shows patina and slight wear due to aging. Measures: 12,5 x 3,5 x 3,5 cm. Weight: 344 g

Headrest. China, Qing dynasty, Guangxu period, 1875-1908. Hand painted porcelain. Remainder of export wax seal on the back. It has wear on the supports of the legs and some lack in a foot. Measurements: 25 x 32 x 13 cm. Antique Chinese porcelain pillow in the shape of a child resting on knees and elbows, in crawling position. The piece follows the models of the Song dynasty, although it is later. Emperor Guangxu also known by his temple name Emperor Dezong of Qing, personal name Zaitian, was the tenth emperor of the Qing dynasty, and the ninth Qing emperor to rule China proper. His reign, which lasted from 1875 to 1908, was largely dominated by his aunt, Empress Dowager Cixi. Guangxu initiated the radical Hundred Days Reform, but it was abruptly interrupted when the empress dowager staged a coup d'état in 1898. After the death of Emperor Tongzhi in 1875, Empress Dowager Cixi installed her four-year-old nephew as Emperor Guangxu, contravening Qing dynastic custom.

Globular body vase with irregular green background on which is represented a herd of tigers. Flanking this central decoration three pink borders with yellow medallions. The tiger was for the Chinese culture the most perfect representation of the Mother Goddess, in her creative, nourishing and chthonic aspects.
