AMOUR ET GLOIRE" CLOCK, EMPIRE PERIOD in gilt bronze; the circular dial with baton hour markers and Roman numerals for the hours and Indian quarter numerals for the minutes, set in a frame of foliage alternating with pearls. It is set in a bollard decorated on the sides, in applique, with antique-style profiles of a man and a woman in a laurel medallion adorned with floral scrolls. On the front, a seated warrior angel holds a shield inscribed with "AMOUR ET GLOIRE" (LOVE AND GLORY). The clock rests on a rectangular doucine base with palm frieze and four "galette" feet. It is surmounted by the attributes of war: helmet, sword, bow and quiver with two doves embracing. With wooden base and glass protection.
