ATTRIBUTED TO PIERRE GOUTHIÈRE, DOOR HANDLE WITH INTEGRATED LOCK AND STRIKE, LOUIS XVI PERIOD, MODEL MOST LIKELY CREATED BY FORESTIER FOR THE APARTMENTS OF MARIE-ANTOINETTE consisting of two rectangular gendarme-cap-shaped handles; in gilt bronze with a green patina and bas-relief decoration of a winged sphinx dying in a leafy term, surrounded by foliage, with a handle featuring pearled floral decoration. They are bordered by a projecting molding of a rais-de-cœur frieze and topped by sphinxes. (Small accidents and missing parts) A lock decorated with sphinxes, attributed to Pierre Gouthière, Louis XVI period, 18th century, model created by Forestier for Marie-Antoinette appartments.
