Pilgrimage to Jerusalem and Mount Sinai in 1831, 1832 and 1833. Edition augmented by a report of the pilgrimage from Jaffa to Jerusalem, made by Madame de Lamartine in 1833 and a typographical note by the Reverend Father Parvilliers, etc. Tournay, Casterman, 1836. 2 vol. in-8 of 416, 377 and 30 pp. Half-brown calf with small corners, nicely decorated smooth spines, title and tom. pages in dark brown marble (period binding). Covers and corners worn. This voyage to the Holy Land was a great success from the outset.
