Two compotiers or display stands on pedestal that were part of the service given by the Berry prefecture on the occasion of the marriage of the eldest daughter of the Comte de Paris, Amélie, Princess of Orleans to the future King Carlos of Portugal, on May 22, 1886. Polychrome and gold Bragance-Orléans covenant arms under the royal crown, all on a phylactery with the inscription hommage du Berry and the date 1886. Fleur-de-lis braid on the drop and blue-ground wing enhanced by a gold-ground braid forming a garland punctuated with fleur-de-lis in amati gold. Gold fillet on the edges.
