Description

Michetz/Kogaratsu. Original endpaper from album T9 "La stratégie de phalènes". India ink signed by the 2 authors and dated 2000. Rare. TBE+. 33 X 44 cm Marc Degroide alias Marc Michetz (1951) began his career in the early '80s as a collaborator at the Graton studio, before publishing his illustrations in Tintin and then Spirou. His passion for medieval Japan and Japanese culture led him to create the character of Kogaratsu in 1983, based on a script by Bosse. Thanks to the success of Samouraï sans maître (already 13 volumes), Michetz was able to devote himself fully to the development of Kogaratsu. Between two albums, he also drew the diptych Tako (script by Yann), and gave free rein to his drawing in portfolios where the erotic theme had pride of place.
