For this edition, only the hors-texte that adorned the previous one were used, and the text pages that had been kept as "souches justificatives" by the new publisher were attached to each copy of the present edition." There are no engravings in the main body of the book, and 2 of the 7 engravings in the sepia suite are MISSING (some rare foxing). The 7 engravings in the suite sur Chine are heavily foxed.
