London, Baldwin, Cradock, and Joy, 1818. In-4 small-cornered havana half calf, smooth spine cloisonné with gilt fillets, gilt title, gilt coat of arms at tail of spine (Binding of the period). Heads missing, jaws cracked, corners dulled; main body in good condition, with good margins. FIRST EDITION. 3 MAPS (2 folding) and 18 LITHOGRAPHIES h.-t. Bound in ARMORED boards with unidentified arms. ATTACHED: color engraving (209 X 254 mm) depicting an Eskimo hunting a narwhal in a dugout canoe.
