It is also Ariosto's 1st full-page illustration. It contains an engraved architectural-framed TITLE with a portrait of Ariosto and the printer's mark, and 51 full-page woodcut ILLUSTRATIONS after drawings by DOSSO DOSSI (1449-1542), a painter from Ferrara. 2-column text in Italian.
