LETTER addressed by French religious, journalist and politician Henri-Dominique LACORDAIRE (1802-1861) to Reverend Père Roussot in Chalais (Isère) concerning the allocation of priests. Considered one of the most brilliant preachers of the 19th century, Père LACORDAIRE was one of the forerunners of liberal Catholicism.
