Chased bronze clock with brown and gilded patina featuring Diana the Huntress leaning against a post, holding a hunting horn in her hand, her head level with, on the left, a fire pot resting on a ram's head next to a pheasant, an oak branch and a quiver, while her greyhound looks on. The circular dial in chased and openwork bronze is decorated with wreaths, flowers, bows and ribbons, with twelve white-enameled hour numerals. The upper spandrels feature two foliage motifs, while the lower part features two mirrored horns of plenty separated by a fire pot. The rectangular base is decorated with a frieze featuring a deer-hunting scene and Diana drawing an arrow from her quiver; the whole is framed by a frieze of hearts and flowers and stands on four feet, the two front ones featuring Morpheus.
