Verso further inscription: "Copie fehlt bei Heller". Date: 18th century Description: Reverse copy with Dürer's monogram and date. Inscribed "AD" lower left, inscribed "1511" on the right. The image corresponds to sheet 11 from Dürer's engraved Passion, which was created between 1507 and 1512. This copy is very accurate, but does not match Dürer's precision in detail. In addition, the panel "INRI" differs in that there is a clear space in the centre. The image corresponds to sheet 2 from Dürer's engraved Passion, which was created between 1507 and 1512. The copy is one of the reprints by the Bamberg antiquarian Bundele, which are generally highly accurate. Older such copies are considered very rare.
