Virgin Crown. Spain, late 19th century. Silver, synthetic stones and diamonds (on the cross). Measurements: 14 x 16 x 9 cm. The crown in bidding must have been part of a figure of dress or cap i pota of the Virgin Mary in her invocation of Immaculate. It is an embossed silver piece with a central structure for the head from which emerges a radiate frame embellished with scrolls, floral motifs and borders dotted with synthetic stones like pearls, rubies and emeralds. The crown itself culminates in a Latin cross outlined by diamonds.
