Fernandina game box; Spain, first quarter of the nineteenth century. Pine with rosewood veneer and gilded bronze applications. It presents faults. Preserves key and shows the initials BS in brass inlay. Measurements: 25 x 56 x 28 cm. Box made of pine wood with rosewood veneer. On the sides of the front it has gilded bronze appliqués representing schematic leaves. The piece has three drawers and in the upper area a lid that opens with hinges, revealing a compartmentalized space. This is a piece of late neoclassical furniture. During the reign of Ferdinand VII, the stylistic legacy of the First French Empire was perpetuated, balancing Greco-Roman, neoclassical and Egyptian influences. Presents faults.
