Pair of carved and gilded wooden dancing chairs. The turned legs present sections in stipes between moldings. The designs of the backs are highly original. They are decorated, respectively, with a fan-shaped carving and a floral plafond emulating a tambourine. Scrolls, braces, fleur-de-lis and geometric fretwork intertwine to form unique openwork designs. A dragon's head tops one of the backrests. It presents faults in the gilding and upholstery.
