Table clock. France, late nineteenth century. Belgian black marble and marble "rouge griotte". Mounts of gilded brass. Presents some lack in the marble. Signed (possibly "Roilin"). Measurements: 23 x 31,5 x 12 cm. French table clock. It presents a design of historicist aesthetics. The rectangular and molded case (of neoclassical inspiration) rises on claw feet (of eighteenth-century inspiration). It is topped with an overhanging eave. It has lateral handles. The structure is symmetrical and houses in its center the dial, with Roman numerals in gold, matching the hands and the mount. Filleting in vegetal fretwork and Greek fretwork complete the sober decoration.
