Collection of three magic horns. Bamum, Cameroon. L 17-19cm, made of antelope horns, each with drilled holes for hanging and a blowhole, and a ceremonial drinking horn made of buffalo horn, L 23cm, richly decorated in relief with various emblems; shiny black-brown patina, the buffalo horn with remnants of redwood patina. 4 pieces! Intact. Provenance: Dr. Hans- Joachim Koloss, 1938-2013 Head of the Africa Department of the Linden-Museum, Stuttgart.
