Pair of ibedji twins. Yoruba, Nigeria. H 26,5cm, with blue dyed piled up coiffures, ending in a knot; the male figure wears a disc necklace around the body, both figures with numerous linear scarification marks on body and face; reddish brown patina with remains of camwood powder, from Ijara, Igbomina.
