Small Neolithic Bi disk. Liangzhu culture, ca. 3300 - 2300 B.C. ø 10 cm. Green emerald jade with light brown and white-grey spots and inclusions, polished. Ancient Chinese flat disc with smooth surface on both sides, central, conical cut opening in the middle. Beautiful veining. Green jade is the most traditional and rarest color. In China, green jade is a symbol of good luck. Intact. Good condition with minor chips to the rim. Provenance: Ex collection R.K., North Rhine-Westphalia, before 1980.
