Narrow window axe. Levant, 1st half 2nd mill. bc. L 12.5cm, W 5cm. Fully cast. Short axe with an integrated, drop-shaped spout, two oval openings in the blade and a profiled ledge running as a center line over the blade and around the openings. Cf. White Muscarella, Bronze and Iron. Ancient Near Eastern Artifacts in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (1988) p. 386 f. Brown-black patina, tiny chip to rim.
