Female terracotta idol. Indus culture, Mehrgarh, 3500 - 2800 B.C. H 12cm. Beige terracotta, hand-molded. Seated, naked, female figure with outstretched hands, oversized breasts, a neck collar and an elongated, stylized head with a protruding nose and round, hollowed-out eyes as well as a high hairstyle. A mother goddess is depicted. With TL analysis from the Kotalla laboratory, 2024! Intact. Provenance: Ex collection Dr. Klaus Marquardt, North Rhine-Westphalia, 1980s to 2009.
