Faience pendant of Isis with a Horus boy, so-called Isis Lactans. Late period, 664 - 332 BC. H 7.8 cm. Turquoise faience. Isis seated on a throne with a throne symbol on her head and a uraeus serpent holding the breast of the Horus boy with a side plait on her lap. Pierced on the side at the height of the chest. Feet and front part of the plinth broken. Provenance: Ex collection Dr. Karl von Seeger, acquired before 1970.
