Bronze statuette of Isis with the boy Horus. Late period, 664 - 332 B.C. H 13cm. Fully cast. Group of figures of the seated Isis with the boy Horus on her lap. The goddess wears a three-part wig and the headdress of Hathor with cow horns and sun disk, clutching her left breast with her right hand. Under her feet is a rectangular plinth. The depiction of Isis as a nursing mother ('Isis Lactans') was particularly widespread in the late period. Corroded surface.
