Statuette of Osiris (upper part). Late period, 6th - 4th century BC. H 14cm. Bronze hollow casting. Osiris in mummy form with crook and frond. On the head the breathing crown with lateral ostrich feathers and frontal uraeus. This piece published and illustrated in R. Bloch, Antike Kleinkunst (1976) cover. Dark brown patina, broken at belly height. Tips of the feathers and the crown broken. Provenance: Ex collection K.F.J.Schaedler, Munich; previously collection Robert Bloch, Munich, 1970s.
