Late antique amphoriskos made of black glass. Eastern Mediterranean, 4th - 5th century A.D. H 5.5 cm. Bellied miniature vessel of opaque black glass with a base plate, diagonal ribs on the belly and two short handles with grip plates. Cf. glasses of antiquity. Oppenländer Collection (1974) no. 753; Y. Israeli, Ancient Glass in the Israel Museum (2003) p. 294 cat. 393. Small glue spot on one handle.
