Amphoriskos in sand core technique. Eastern Mediterranean, 5th century BC. H 7.5 cm. Dark blue glass. Ovoid body with narrow neck, funnel-shaped mouth and small button foot, as well as two neck-shoulder handles. The body decorated with a yellow and light blue zigzag pattern framed by yellow threads. Reassembled from several fragments, two fragments restored. Provenance: ex Gorny & Mosch 300, 2023, lot 252; ex Dr. Wiegand Collection, Bavaria, collection period 1960s to 2005.
