Oinochoe in sand core technique. Eastern Mediterranean, 5th century BC. H 8.2cm. Dark blue glass. Ovoid body with narrow neck, cloverleaf mouth and small foot, as well as a neck-shoulder handle. Body decorated with a fine yellow and light blue zigzag pattern, framed by yellow threads. Fragment of the rim restored, otherwise intact. Provenance: ex Gorny & Mosch 300, 2023, lot 250; ex collection Dr. Wiegand, Bavaria, collection period 1960s to 2005.
