Double cabbage flask with superstructure. Eastern Mediterranean, 4th - 6th century AD. H 24cm. Bluish clear glass. U-shaped body of two long tubes, with tubular lips, rounded and flattened base. On both sides from bottom to top two thin looped threads touching the wall three and four times, above a two-tiered basket handle of curved thick threads, the whole made of turquoise glass. Handle reassembled, small crack in the body, with stand. Provenance: ex Gorny & Mosch 300, 2023, lot 304; ex collection Dr. Wiegand, Bavaria, collection period 1960s to 2005.
