Plate with omphalos. Roman, 3rd-4th century AD. H 5cm, ø 24cm. Greenish clear glass, blown. Flat plate with folded lip. The foot ring folded out of the wall lifts up the omphalos on the inside of the plate. Remains of iridescence, broken and professionally restored. Provenance: Ex collection Dr. Wiegand, Bavaria, collection period 1960s to 2005.
