Description
Gold earring with studs. Parthian, ca. 300 BC. 5.05g, ø 2.8cm. Hollow, made from a gold hoop with open ends, on which there are six rows of studs, set off from each other in pairs with braided wire. Gold! Remains of sinter, some studs missing or damaged, two smaller holes in the hoop. Provenance: Ex private property M.T., Munich, since the 1980s.
