Thracian gold pectoral (chest ornament). Early 5th century BC. 4cm x 10.4cm. Diamond-shaped gold sheet with punched decoration in the form of dots, horseshoes and circles in two triangular fields. Gold! Small tears to the rim, otherwise intact, mounted on a plexiglass stand. Provenance: Ex private property G. S., Lower Saxony, in family possession since 1966.
