The set contains numerous bronze implements including two rare scalpels with iron blades, two spatulas, two needles, tweezers, a hook and the blade of a knife, l 5.5 - 18.4 cm. Also a slate grater, l 10.6 cm. 10 pieces! With certificate of authenticity from Galerie Günter Puhze, Freiburg! Published in: Bonhams London Auction Antiquities September 22, 1998, lot 370. Bronze with green patina, iron slightly corroded, otherwise mostly intact. Provenance: From the R. L. Collection, Lower Saxony, acquired in 2004 from Galerie Puhze, Freiburg im Breisgau; from a Belgian private collection.
