Portrait of a man. 1st century BC - 1st century AD. H 13.5 cm. White, finely crystalline marble with a yellowish surface. Almost full relief head with the portrait of a beardless man with ideal, youthful features. Short, thick curls fall into the forehead. The back of the head is not worked out and it remains unclear whether the mass of stone left to the side of the neck refers to long, thick neck hair or whether this is still part of the relief ground.
