Roman transport amphora for olive oil of the Dressel 20. Tarraconensis type, ca. 30 - 300 AD. H 76.5cm and with stand 81cm. Light brown, slightly reddish clay. With a bulging mouth rim and small bow handles with a central ridge on the back. Numerous different and very interesting graffiti on the shoulder. With a beautiful iron stand! Intact, minor remnants of marine growth. Provenance: From the private collection D. W., Baden-Württemberg; previously in a German private collection since the 1970s.
