Two Apulian vases of Gnathia ware. 2nd half 4th B.C. Glossy earthenware with ribbed bodies and colored painting in white, yellow and red as well as a reddish coating in places. a) Kantharos with branches on the neck. H 10.3cm, W with handles 12.6cm. b) Bombylos with leaf wreath on neck and shoulder. H 14.8cm, ø body 8.9cm. 2 pieces! A few tiny chips, otherwise intact. Provenance: From the North German private collection A. A.; previously in a private collection in Hamburg, acquired before 1970.
