Apulian oinochoe of the Xenonware. 1st half 4th century BC. H 19.6cm, ø body 8.5cm. Pitcher type 5b of lustre pottery with orange clay slip as paint and reddish coating on the underside. Circumferential band with alternating angular patterns on the body. Intact. Provenance: Since ca. 2005 private collection C.M.J., Brussels, inherited from the collection D. M. in Sceaux, France, from the 1970s to 2005.
