The map titled "America" shows both North and South America, with the northern part at an unfinished stage, as this area was still largely unexplored. The map of Asia shows the northern coast of Australia. Oblong 12mo, 105x145 mm. Contemporary full leather binding with blind toolings on covers, marbled endpapers. Engraved titlepage and frontispiece, 29 engraved plates, sheet with "Index Mapparum" and six additional plates on the German principalities, also published by Lobeck, are added to the volume. Total of 35 contemporary coloring plates. Ex Libris of Horace Landau. Slight defects on binding. Some slight waterstains on some sheets.
