TERRACOTTA FEMALE IDOL Syro-Hittite art, early 2nd millennium B.C. Flat-bodied female votive statuette, standing with legs clasped and arms outstretched. She is adorned with a necklace. The nose is said to be "bird's beak" and the headdress formerly pierced with holes. Broken into three parts, glued back together. Dimensions: 13 x 4 x 2 cm. Provenance: Former European collection.
