Description

Rare small baroque silver ball-footed beaker, fully gilt. On flared spherical feet, slightly conical body with a smooth rim set off by delicate profile lines, merging into a narrow lip rim. Three oval medallions on the wall with chased and punched depictions of landscapes and architecture, framed by finely chased fruit decoration. Marked by a tremolier line and an unidentified master with a running dog, probably Master Hans Leonhard Wolff (became master in 1672). Weight approx. 60 g. H. 8 cm. Cf. cat.
